2023 Update: Native Poppy in South Park has re-opened!
We are so happy to be flowering on Grape Street again — visit us and say hello!
What follows below is an edited, archived version of our original post after the car crash. We are so grateful for our community's support during this wild time!
Hi Wild Flowers, we have some sad news to share about our South Park store. Earlier today, a driver crashed their car through the front wall of our South Park shop. Fortunately, all of our team (and our neighbors) are safe and sound. We are truly grateful that no one was injured in this frightening crash.
Unfortunately, there was substantial damage to the building and our flowers and gifts inside, so we will not be able to operate from South Park for the foreseeable future. The city sent a building inspector to view the damage from the crash, and they determined that it's not safe for us to be inside the building until significant re-construction takes place.
Sadly, this means our South Park store is temporarily closed until Fall 2022.
We thank you for your patience this week as we adapt to a new workflow from the Native Poppy warehouse in Mission Valley. Our Poppies will be rallying together to find creative ways to continue bringing you the artistry you expect from our team.
