Desert-inspired wedding floral installation by Native Poppy

“Romantic Desert Garden Wedding”

La Quinta Resort

Bold, modern, romantic desert meets garden inspired florals for this gorgeous wedding. Alexis and Zach dreamed of a glamorous, desert vibe for their big day, with dynamic, sculptural foliage designed to be a backdrop to their favorite neutral-hued blooms. Modern accents like as cacti, palms and tropical leaves sprung forth from ground arrangements and decorated aisle archways, complimenting the Palm Springs setting. We selected flowers in shades of soft white, cream, sand, taupe and caramel for a sophisticated, lush look. Alexis and her bridesmaids held bouquets full of tropical blooms, and the bride and groom stood under a floating install at their wedding altar that featured tons of floral textures.

The reception was held in an airy outdoor setting, with elegant draped linens and vintage lighting suspended above the attendees. Lush table centerpieces added floral flair to each table, filled with tropical flowers like orchids and anthurium. Our artfully-designed floral clouds were filled with beautiful blooms, reminiscent of tumbleweeds that magically rolled through a wildflower meadow into the airy venue. The floral clouds were suspended above the tables, floating overhead as guests ate, drank, and danced the night away.
