On January 1st, 2026, Native Poppy's Mission Valley design studio was badly damaged by flooding. Yes... again.
This is the worst kind of déjà vu: our studio has once again been damaged by flooding of city stormwater channels, nearly identical to the flood we experienced two years ago.
With flood water reaching over three feet high inside our warehouse, much of our merchandise, furniture, electronics, supplies, and our delivery vehicles have been damaged or destroyed.
While we wait for an assessment of the damage, and work to clean and repair our space, we must pause operations from our Mission Valley location.
We know we have a tough road ahead. Sadly, this is our third round of bad luck: in addition to 2024's flood, we also experienced a long recovery after a car crashed into our South Park store in 2022! Our team has been through a lot together in the past few years, which has created a wonderful bond with our team and our wider community. But once again, we are asking for your help.
We are so grateful for your support during this difficult time. Your donation will help us adapt, support our amazing team of Poppies as we rebuild and restore our design warehouse, and continue bringing magical flower moments to our community. Thank you for your generosity!
